Oh, is there anything more divine than an original 1970’s Laura Ashley prairie dress? And then add made in Wales AND the coveted Mythical Creatures print and you’ve got one of the most special prairie dresses we’ve sourced to date. This one has all the beautiful feminine features, cut in a lovely thicker cotton corduroy fabrication in a stunning soft brown hue and adorned in the magical darker brown Mythical Beasts print. She features a scoop neck with lace detail, a pleated bust, full length sleeves with gathered shoulders and frilled cuffs, is fitted around the bust and falls into an a-line silhouette in an almost-maxi length.  Such a rare and special beauty, a true vintage dream dress that is oh so wearable today.

100% cotton.

Unlined. Back zip for entry.

Made in Great Britain/Wales (even has the makers initials written on a little tag). 

 

Condition: Very good vintage condition, with light wear consistent with age. There is some wash and print fade throughout and the cuffs would have been elasticated but it has since stretched out. Honestly though, she is out of this world.

 

Measurements: 

Armpit to armpit - 44cm flat across the back, 

Underbust/Waist - 40cm flat across, 

Length - 132cm.

Tagged a vintage size 10, I would estimate this would be suitable for up to a S, up a modern 8 in AUS sizing depending on the desired fit. It’s a bit larger than the usual vintage sizing and it only just didn't fit me as a 10. However the bust seam is quite high so would be better suited to an 8 or smaller.

Shipping

Dreamer Bohemia ships orders Monday/Wednesday/Friday and aims to dispatch packages within 48 hours of order placement. 

Domestic (Australian) shipping:

All domestic orders are shipped with Australia Post. The shipping options are $12.00 AUD for regular post and $17.50 AUD for express post. Bulky items (leather jackets/boots) are $17.50 AUD for regular shipping and $25 AUD for express.
Estimated timelines for deliveries are between 4-7 days for regular post, and 1-3 days for express post - all depending on location and Aust Post networks/delays.

 

International shipping:

All international orders are shipped via Australia Post which then transfers to the local shipping network in your delivery country. International delivery is $45 flat AUD via standard international shipping, or $75 AUD for bulky items. Please note we only ship to a limited number of international locations; if your country doesn't appear in the checkout we unfortunately are not able to ship to you at this point in time.

Please note we are not liable for any additional charges or duties that your package attracts through your country's customs process. We are legally obliged to declare the total value of each purchase and provide a commercial invoice if required. Please do not ask to have the dollar value of your item reduced for customs, I insure all overseas parcels and need to declare them at their correct value for this.
