Okay, all you purist Laura Ashley fans please look away now… so we know there is nothing more divine than an original Laura Ashley made in Wales prairie dress, however this one has had a couple of modifications since her inception 50ish years ago. I believe that she would have had a high modest neck, but now has a simple v-neck instead, and that she would have once been a longer maxi length but has been hemmed to her current midi length.
Aside from those two modern modifications, she is still as pretty as a prairie dress can be, in the loveliest rich purple Laura Ashley floral cotton fabric, pleated bust panels, long sleeves with button cuffs, easy wear smock shape and lace detail on the full midi length skirt.
She’s had a modern makeover and is ready for life in the 21st century.

Made in Great Britain/Wales.
Condition: Good vintage condition, with minor visible wear consistent with age. There is wash fade throughout, some small hand repairs to the centre chest, slight fluffing on the cotton under the arms, plus the modifications as listed above. She’s not fully original but she’s super wearable and doing very well for her 50ish years.

Armpit to armpit - 53cm flat across the back,
Waist - 42cm flat across,
Length - 128cm.
No size tagged, I would estimate this would be suitable for a M, around a modern 10/12 in AUS sizing depending on the desired fit.

Domestic (Australian) shipping:
All domestic orders are shipped with Australia Post. The shipping options are $12.00 AUD for regular post and $17.50 AUD for express post. Bulky items (leather jackets/boots) are $17.50 AUD for regular shipping and $25 AUD for express.
Estimated timelines for deliveries are between 4-7 days for regular post, and 1-3 days for express post - all depending on location and Aust Post networks/delays.
International shipping:
All international orders are shipped via Australia Post which then transfers to the local shipping network in your delivery country. International delivery is $45 flat AUD via standard international shipping, or $75 AUD for bulky items. Please note we only ship to a limited number of international locations; if your country doesn't appear in the checkout we unfortunately are not able to ship to you at this point in time.
Please note we are not liable for any additional charges or duties that your package attracts through your country's customs process. We are legally obliged to declare the total value of each purchase and provide a commercial invoice if required. Please do not ask to have the dollar value of your item reduced for customs, I insure all overseas parcels and need to declare them at their correct value for this.
