I bought this exquisite vintage Akubra for myself, it is the coveted Down Under model in a super easy wear shape but alas it does not fit. So, my loss is your vintage gain, as honestly this is the most perfectly worn in hat to add a much needed touch of stockman to all your vinty outfits. Crafted from the highest quality rabbit fur felt, this beautiful hat is adorned with a perforated leather band complete with chain detail and the prettiest feathers and is lightly molded and shaped to perfection. It has a leather internal band and satin lining on the inside of the hat top.

I’m unsure how old this classic Australian hat is exactly but I am certain it will be around for another 50 or so years, sharing it’s country charm with all who wear it.

 

Condition: Very good vintage condition with some minor wear due to age. There is a couple of marks on the felt, and the inside satin lining has come a bit loose from the internal leather band but isn’t visible when worn and doesn’t affect wear. The brim is a little wonky but it all just adds to its beautiful worn in patina. It is the best hat.

 

Measurements: Tagged a size 56, this would suit a 54/56cm head.  As the hat opening isnt a circle it is hard to provide an accurate diameter measurement; from front of hat to back is 19cm and from side to side is 15.5cm. The inner head hole circumference is 55cm (ish) The brim measures 7.5cm across.

Shipping

Dreamer Bohemia ships orders Monday/Wednesday/Friday and aims to dispatch packages within 48 hours of order placement. 

Domestic (Australian) shipping:

All domestic orders are shipped with Australia Post. The shipping options are $12.00 AUD for regular post and $17.50 AUD for express post. Bulky items (leather jackets/boots) are $17.50 AUD for regular shipping and $25 AUD for express.
Estimated timelines for deliveries are between 4-7 days for regular post, and 1-3 days for express post - all depending on location and Aust Post networks/delays.

 

International shipping:

All international orders are shipped via Australia Post which then transfers to the local shipping network in your delivery country. International delivery is $45 flat AUD via standard international shipping, or $75 AUD for bulky items. Please note we only ship to a limited number of international locations; if your country doesn't appear in the checkout we unfortunately are not able to ship to you at this point in time.

Please note we are not liable for any additional charges or duties that your package attracts through your country's customs process. We are legally obliged to declare the total value of each purchase and provide a commercial invoice if required.

You can track your order online and you will receive an email with tracking details once your order has been dispatched.

All orders are packaged with love using recycled materials in compostable mailers.
